Urban Design Climate Workshop PARIS
We want to address a huge thanks to our university partners, the conferences participants and all the students who brought their valuable expertise and collective intelligence to our very first UCCRN_edu Intensive Study Programme, hosted by the Gustave Eiffel University Campus in Marne-La-Vallée, Paris.
During the week, students and teaching staff was confronted with real urban challenges through the “Reinventing cities/Porte de Montreuil” C40 project site as suitable climate-resilient governance, planning and design strategies following the interaction with communities through knowledge-sharing, technical scientific exchanges with local experts and interactive field learning activities such as the climate walk led by Gerald Mills from UCD and William Veerbeek from IHE-Delft.
It was a really enriching moment for all the students from UCCRN_edu partner institutions, who delivered innovative design planning and governance solutions to be integrated in the Porte the Montreuil redevelopment project carried out by Atelier Georges and TVK.
